ARTINECT acts as a liaison between art and architecture. We use our knowledge, experience, and expertise in both realms to best match buildings and public spaces with the artwork most appropriate for them. ARTINECT is not an art gallery; nor are we an architectural design office. But we work with both—those who design and maintain architectural spaces, and those who create art for them—in order to select and install the best artwork for the project.
ARTINECT is ideal for architectural projects with a public dimension—such as hotels, airports, stations, conference centers, historic sites, governmental and institutional buildings—as well as their outdoor spaces. However, smaller commercial spaces would also benefit from ARTINECT's services—in retail display for instance—as well as private ones where the integration of the art and architecture is an important part of the project.
The art that ARTINECT works with is typically 3-dimensional and larger in scale. Hence you may note a bias in our work towards sculpture and installation / environmental art. We normally do not get involved in 2-dimensional art unless it is larger in scale and integrated with the architecture, such as murals and mosaics. The work, however, is not limited to the visual realm: it also includes the tactile, auditory, and our specialty—olfactory art.
You will find below and on our social media pages examples of work we advocate as an inspiration. Please follow us on whichever platform you prefer. If you are an architect or building manager working on a project that requires art, please get in touch with us. And if you are an artist whose work may fit the kind of projects we work on, please do so as well. We look forward to hearing from you—wherever you are and however you prefer—and hopefully working together!
